Rainforest Connection (RFCx) is a nonprofit organization leveraging acoustic technology to protect forests and wildlife from illegal logging, poaching, and to monitor biodiversity to better inform conservation action. Acoustics are a powerful way to understand the creatures that inhabit our living planet and the activities that threaten it. Our work takes us all over the world, and we want to share it with you! Peek inside the places we're helping partners to learn about and protect, the sounds within, and be part of the impact!

Bring nature home, with Rainforest Connection.

Also, we are now supporting the dark mode for iOS 13 users. 2.1.0 02/21/2020 We have added a few more visual clues to indicate when a live stream is online and the local time of the stream. 2.0.3 08/28/2019 In this version we have added extra “live” indicators so you know when you are listening to the latest audio from our guardians. Other small fixes include the RFCx player is now more considerate when you are playing audio from other apps — it will only start playing when requested.

Be sure to listen out for gibbons around 5:00 PM Pacific Time on the recently added live streams from Hulu Batang Hari (07:00AM local time). 2.0.2 08/15/2019 We hope you enjoy our newly designed home screen and site pages that give you direct access to each of the projects that Rainforest Connection are working on around the globe.

Another feature of the new design is that we are making it clearer when guardians are online and offline — if a live guardian is green then you can be sure that the stream was recorded within the last 30 minutes! 2.0.1 08/06/2019
